Mekelle City Launches
Addis Ababa, October 25/2025(ABN) The Ministry of Water and Energy signed a contractual agreement with Aser Construction PLC for the construction of the Mekelle City Wastewater Collection, Treatment, and Disposal Operation and Maintenance Project. The agreement was signed by His Excellency Dr. Eng. Habtamu Itefa, Minister of Water and Energy. The Minister emphasized that Aser Construction has extensive experience in similar projects and urged the company to exert its utmost effort to ensure that the people of Mekelle benefit from the project’s successful implementation. Ethiopian Airlines Expands
Addis Ababa, 28 February 2025 (ABN) Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest airline, is set to launch a new flight service to Porto, Portugal, starting July 2, 2025. The route will operate four times a week with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, making a stop in Madrid, Spain. The new service aims to enhance connectivity for passengers traveling between Africa and Europe while strengthening Ethiopian Airlines’ expansion across the region.
