Under the leadership of CEO Dr. Brook Taye, a delegation of senior officials from Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) conducted a visit to the Semera Terminal and Mille Coordination Bureau on Saturday, March 30, 2025. The delegation was received by Dr. Beriso Amelo, CEO of the Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics(ESL), during their visit.
During the inspection at Semera Terminal, the officials observed key operational activities, infrastructure development, ongoing projects, and the overall functionality of the terminal. Discussions were held regarding potential improvements and areas that require enhancement.
Similarly, at Mille Coordination Bureau, located 75 km from Semera, the delegation assessed the facility, which serves as a rest and maintenance area for heavy-duty truck drivers. They toured ongoing projects, including the construction of a modern workshop, a vehicle maintenance garage, a transport terminal, and connecting roads. They also engaged in discussions about the soon-to-be-launched heavy vehicle rest area and infrastructure needs for better facilitation of operations.
Dr. Beriso Amelo expressed his gratitude to the Ethiopian Investment Holdings management for their continued support and field assessments. He extended his appreciation to CEO Dr. Brook Taye, Deputy CEO W/ro Melkitu Sahilu, and Ato Habtamu Hailemichael for their commitment to infrastructure and logistics development in Ethiopia.
