The Organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC) is set to launch the 2nd Edition of the Festival of the Greater South with an opening ceremony on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Ethiopian National Theatre in Addis Ababa. The festival will span three days, running through June 28 and 29, offering a rich program dedicated to celebrating the vibrant cultural diversity and creative talent of the Greater South region.
The festival, themed “Peoples in Motion, Living Cultures,” aims to highlight the dynamic interplay between traditional heritage and contemporary artistic expressions. Throughout the three days, attendees will experience a variety of performances, including theatre productions, traditional and modern dance, and live music concerts, showcasing the depth and breadth of cultural artistry from the region.
