Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest airline, is set to launch a new flight service to Porto, Portugal, starting July 2, 2025. The route will operate four times a week with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, making a stop in Madrid, Spain.
The new service aims to enhance connectivity for passengers traveling between Africa and Europe while strengthening Ethiopian Airlines’ expansion across the region.
Ato Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, stated:
“We are thrilled to add Porto to our growing network. This new route reflects our commitment to offering more travel options and seamless connectivity for our passengers.”
Ethiopian Airlines currently operates flights to 22 destinations in Europe and serves eight cargo hubs across the continent. With this addition, the airline continues to bolster its presence in the region while fostering stronger trade and travel ties between Africa and Europe.
