The Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) of Ethiopia is showcasing the country’s special economic zones and investment incentives at the 33rd Asia-Arab-Africa Investment Forum in Tokyo, Japan. Led by CEO Dr. Fisseha Yitagesu, the delegation highlighted Ethiopia’s strategic advantages, including its young workforce, modern infrastructure, reliable electricity supply, and investor-friendly policies. Dr. Fisseha emphasized the government’s reforms, such as single-window services, aimed at streamlining business operations and attracting global investors.
Ethiopia’s Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Japan, Daba Debele, delivered the keynote address, underscoring the country’s transformation into a competitive investment hub. He noted that targeted policy reforms and infrastructure developments have addressed previous bottlenecks, making Ethiopia a preferred destination for foreign investment. “These efforts are already yielding tangible results, drawing growing interest from international investors,” Ambassador Daba Debele stated.
